Current Position/s Available:
Hydrogeologist, junior to mid-level, (Perth based)
HydroSolutions Pty Ltd is a specialist hydrogeological and environmental consultancy based in Willetton, Western Australia. We are currently seeking a junior to mid-level Hydrogeologist ideally with c+1-2 years experience to join our growing consultancy. Ideally you will:
- Hold a relevant tertiary qualification- hydrogeology/ geology based
- Have c+1~2 years relevant experience, preferably including Western Australia/ Pilbara/ Goldfields/ Mine-site experienced/ Contaminated Sites investigation
- Be self reliant & confident
- Be prepared to work on site & in the office
- Have experience in drilling rig supervision/ geological logging/ groundwater sampling/ test pumping/ hydrochemical interpretation
- Be familiar with specialist software, e.g. Aquachem/ AquiferTest/ QuickLog/ Didger/ CAD/ MapInfoGIS/ Surfer/ Visual MODFLOW
- Have experience in contaminated sites investigation/ remediation & familiarity with WA legislation
- Be willing to gain experience in Contaminated Site Audits
- Be able to interpret data and prepare technical reports
- Have some exposure to groundwater modelling (e.g. Visual MODFLOW).
- Be able to start shortly.
The position can be full-time (permanent)/ contract/ casual to suit the right applicant and will suit someone wishing to gain consulting experience in groundwater & contaminated sites. All necessary training will be provided and ongoing Professional Development is encouraged.
We have major projects commencing shortly.
